Efosa Eluma
Chief Operating Officer, RoboMed Global
Efosa Eluma is a global clinical operations executive with more than eighteen years across clinical operations and development, digital health and medical technologies. That work spans clinical trial programmes in Europe, Asia and North America and engagements with ministries of health in West Africa, including programmes that have reached patients across 15 countries.
As Chief Operating Officer of RoboMed Global, Efosa led the operational deployment of West Africa’s first NAFDAC-approved robotic surgical platform, now operational at Nisa Hospital, Abuja, where more than 20 complex robotic surgeries have been performed, including robotic kidney transplant and prostate cancer procedures.
Efosa is also the founder of Health Zone Africa (HeZa), a centralised digital health platform that connects healthcare institutions into a unified health intelligence network, deployed across West Africa. As Principal Consultant in Clinical Operations and Development at Clinical World Alliance, Efosa advises on global drug development, rare disease, digital medicine and novel therapeutic platforms, following earlier roles as Clinical Trial Lead in Digital Medicine Clinical Operations & Development at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) and Clinical Trial Manager at Actelion.
Across every role, the focus is the same: finding the gap between where a health system is and where it should be, and closing it, so that the work reaches patients.
