Cofounded by Dr. Obi Ekwenna, a transplant surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center, RoboMed™ achieved a historic milestone on December 22, 2025: NAFDAC approval for the Toumai robotic surgical system the first robotic surgical platform approved by any regulatory authority in West Africa.
